I MADE A CLUB! (Jap. Pixel Club!)

NEW! Japanese Pixel Club!

Well I love pixels but I was SO TIRED of seeing pixel clubs that were dead... also I am not a big fan of dolls (unless they are of characters I really love!) so... The Japanese Pixel Club was born!!

Basically it's for people who pixel (or just fans of) Japanese characters like Sanrio, San-x,, Crux, etc. I would like all of you who even just like to look at them to join as well!

I really need some submissions, though~

Today is my birthday!

Today is my birthday!

Yup! Today is my 22nd birthday! It was looking like it was going to be a horrible birthday but it's actually been alright I guess..!

First of all, last night my car broke down. AGAIN. About 2 weeks ago I paid $1000 (yes, ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!) to get it fixed... piece of crap. Then it breaks down doing the same crap again! So I was stuck on an off-ramp of a highway, balling my eyes out because I was afraid of getting kidnapped or hit by cars going too fast!

So anyway, I got my car towed to the shop that supposedly fixed it last time and they said that they would look at it TODAY and call me TODAY and they never called. -.- So I am car-less again.

In better news though, Kenny took me out to my favorite restaurant (Nakato [link]) and we go there a lot so there is this one waitress that we request that is SO NICE and she is just adorable (actually she is smokin hot, but she is adorable too!) and ofcourse we requested her.

So when she found out it was my birthday she offered to buy me a shot of alcohol but I don't really drink so she asked if I liked any virgin drinks... so she bought me a Pina Colada!

Then we went to the tattoo shop we love and got set up for my giant wing tattoos that I am getting on my back soon!

Unfortunately it will cost $400

Most expensive one yet! But anyway. I will probably be going on Wednesday to get it started.

I didn't get the birthday cake I wanted because I decided to get Pokemon Pearl for Nin. DS instead XD In about 30 minutes, Kenny and I are going up to Gamestop to pick up our reserved copy of the new Grand Theft Auto!!

Well, birthday is almost over. Was very... lame lol Oh wells!

Need YOUR Input!

Well well, I was thinkin that I might want to set up a new account here on DA and seperate my pixels and all my other art so that people soley focused on pixels can see only pixels and then my other art would be more visable on it's own, seperate account.

So can I have your opinion on this? Do you think it would be wise to seperate like that or not?

Also, I am interested in what internet browser everyone uses because I am working on my new site and trying to make it compatible with all browsers and I need to know which ones to test on!

Lil' Bit 'O This 'N That!

A lot of people come to my profile and see my 4 most recent submissions. They see whatever type of art that is on there currently and do not realize that I am a jack-of-all-trades, yet a master of none.

To those people, I wish you would click on that little link called "Browse Gallery" and see that I do LOTS of different forms of art! I think I am most known for pixelling on DA, and that's perfectly fine because I love pixelling, but I do so many other forms of art!

To the people who actually do go through my gallery (even if you just pick out your favorite type of art!) I really, honestly thank you for that!

Brushessss!

I ~~am going~~ WENT through all of my brush sets right now and doing the following:

1) Updating the .abr files, cleaning up some of the brushes and adding a credit bursh to them.
2) Making new previews for ALL of them
3) Including an Image Pack folder in the newly uploaded .rar file that you download, that way PSP users can use my brushes, too!

~~I have about half of them done, going to finish the other half this evening.~~

I also uploaded a new brush set, they are little blinkie brushes, they are a lot of fun! Here is the prview for that:

And I have 2 more new brush sets I ~~shall be adding soon~~ ADDED, too!!

Featured

I have never featured anyone before, but these 2 people I am about to feature are just AMAZING and I look up to both of them.

First one we have is my dearest friend Manda, whom is the most amazing vexeller I have ever met/known. She needs to keep up her vexelling, so lets encourage her to!!

Also, just a note... A lot of people think that vexelling is just tracing and there is no art to it at all. First of all, YOU TRY IT and tell me how fucking easy it is. Coz it ISN'T. Secondly, MANDA actually makes her OWN images. Sometimes she takes like the figure of someone, but makes it into a totally different picture all together! Sometimes she does it completely from scratch, too. Sketching her OWN outlines! She is AMAZING! Go check here out:

My second feature is from someone I met here on DA, but she has been my best supporter, even though our art styles are nowhere NEAR the same!

She does mainly fractals. Which I didn't even know existed until I saw some of hers a few months ago! I wish I could say something smart and whitty... but i have NO CLUE how she makes them!!!! I mean, it is beyond me completely!!!!!!! But all I know is she makes AMAZING pieces of art and they look SO COOL and I have no clue how it happens, but she does it extremely well!

She got 2nd place in a fractal contest here on DA (although I think it should have been FIRST! mwuahah) so you know the girl's gotta have talent! So here she is and a few of my favorites out of her collection (which is hugeee):
